this is me. no doubt. =p

i am going to announce a good news. good news for us. minyi, su woan and cassie.

WE ARE SELECTED TO PERFORM IN CULTURAL NIGHT!!~~ WHEEEEEEEEeee~~~~

seriously thanks to Dr. Priya. She signed me and Cassie up for the "dance therapy workshop". without asking us. swt. Mana tau her workshop got underlying motive ummore. She wanted us to learn an indian dance and go for an audition for international culture night. So yeah I dragged su woan in as well.

so the so called dance therapy workshop was one week before exam. We went for the 1st audition- which they picked 3 teams to represent SUN-U.. though we actually learn and practiced for not more than 5 hrs. I never expected we were selected, due to many reasons. Summore i did some mistakes.. super nervous cuz cant really coordinate with partner and saw somebody unexpected omg made me more nervous =.='

anyway, as we move on to the next round, we need to practice everyday after exam. BUT during tat time 3 of us went for class trip to penang.. so i promised Dr. Priya we will practice. *gulp*. yeah we did practice what. yes we practiced. In the hotel once.. and in the swimming pool once.

on the day of the 2nd audition, omg i never expected it was such a serious thing before i know that the judges were from ministry of education. Summore there were other teams from USM, HELP etc etc.. *fainted* the most serious problem was, they did some changes to the steps and we need to learn on tat day itself. Not only that, we had to wear the indian costume and practiced. U know how heavy was the dress. T_T minyi was so exhausted after the trip summore need to wear the heavy dress. My body was moving unwillingly and i could feel that i can faint anytime. XD Luckly 3 of us can pick up the new steps kinda fast and after some rest i felt energized again for the real thing.

And we were freaking nervous cuz we saw other teams. They did quite well. espeacially there was a team with all ang mohs, performing malay traditional dance and kuda kepang. It was obvious that the judges were impressed by their performance. Anyway, we tried our best too, and the cheering after the performance was the best present after all. I felt so satisfied, though my knee actually injured.

And now we are selected to perform in the Cultural Night! ahahahaha minyi is so happy. =)

My sister bought this drinks for me from Singapore last week. It's so interesting and the concept is awesome. It is because everytime we seem to face this problem when we have to decide what to drink in supermarket or restaurant.

So, the concept of these drinks-RANDOMness.

"Anything" is carbonated soft drink that has six flavors- Cola, Cola with Lemon, Apple, Fizz Up, Cloudy Lemon and Root Beer. Wheares when u purchase "whatever", you might get Ice Lemon Tea, Peach Tea, Jasmine Green Tea, White Grape Tea, Apple Tea or Chrysanthemum Tea.

The drinks have a unique packaging concept such that every beverage has identical design, with no way of telling what flavour is contained in the can. This prevents the drinker from being aware of the flavour of the purchased beverage until they drink it. (An observant drinker can, however, make an educated guess by looking at the ingredients specification on the side of the can. =p)

and these drinks are available in malaysia now. I saw at jusco few days ago. =D

okay because of you i did some research on this fruit-- dragon fruit, also known as pitaya.

There are 2 types basically..

This is Red Pitaya. It has red-skinned fruit with white flesh. (龙珠果).

This is Costa Rica Pitaya, it has red-skinned fruit with red flesh (火龙果).

This is what i gave u. =D

This is a beautiful, delicious fruit that contains high amounts of vitamin and dietary fiber - the flesh of this exotic fruit quite refreshing and similar to melons in flavor. It is mildly sweet and low in calories.Red-skinned pitayas are rich in vitamins, especially Vitamin C. Pitayas are also rich in fiber and minerals, notably phosphorus and calcium. Red pitayas are richer in the former, yellow ones in the latter.

So yeah. if u want to eat just take from fridge kay. enjoy =D

okie i just want to waste my time like this.

I have 3 assignments due in a row next week and i am now struggling with the 3k words essay. My family is coming over this weekend and i am seriously running out of time... but.. I JUST DUN FEEL LIKE WRITING ESSAY AT THIS MOMENT! i spent the whole afternoon working on something and watching series.. and now blogging. =.=' Someone give me some motivation to write essay please. T_T

Today we watched a movie for developmental psychology. The title of the movie was "chocolat" (i did not spell wrongly the title was memang like tat ). Ms elaine asked us to focus of emotional development of two kids characters in the movie. Oh well minyi was attracted to this movie because hmmm.. there were two things that minyi is interested in. The 1st thing of course was CHOCOLATE... and the 2nd.. hahaha minyi's favourite actor- johnny depp appeared in the movie! wheeee!~ ehhh but i did focus on the emotion development of the kids kay! *cough cough* Too bad we skipped some parts due to time constrains. I guess i will borrow the movie from library again.

Yes. Johnny Depp! he looked so lengchai in the movie la. *fainted*

And of course.. chocolates!!!!!!!~ *big shiny eyes*

I watched the trology before with daddy and i love the movies so muchhhhhhh.
shhhhhh.... he is one of my childhood hero and i always think that he is cool and lengchai when i was young. *cough cough*

This is the first movie, raiders of the lost ark. In this movie Indiana Jones fight against the Nazis, who search for the Ark of the Covenant, to make their army invincible.

This is the 2nd movie, temple of doom. He attempts to recover children and a sacred stone from a bloodthirsty cult.

This is the 3rd movie, the Last Crusade,When indiana jones's father vanishes while pursuing a life-long search for the Holy Grail, Indiana must retrace his father's steps in the hopes of rescuing him – and the Grail – from the clutches of the Nazi military.

I was so excited everytime when i see this poster. hohoho.. cuz i really cant wait to watch this movie. i feel so sorry to those who was around me when i saw this poster. It is because i ll be like INDIANA JONESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! ITS COMING OUT SOOOOOOON!!!!! I WANT TO WATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYTIME when i see this poster

Almost 20 years after the third film, he fight against agents of the Soviet Union, led by Irina Spalko, in the search for a crystal skull,the power of an ancient artifact. It is still hillarious, adventurous and AWESOME as previous movie... So mari kita menonton bersama-same. XD

art therapy workshop

I took part in an art therapy workshop with cassie and su woan last few days ago. Though i nearly dozed off in the theory session (minyi is sleep deprived nowadays T_T), some piece of information given regarding to art therapy has truly enlightened me.

Art therapy is actually a form of expressive therapy that uses art materials, such as paints. Art therapy is based on the belief that the creative process of art is both healing and life-enhancing. Art therapists use the creative process and the issues that come up during art therapy to help their clients increase insight and judgment, cope better with stress, work through traumatic experiences, increase cognitive abilities, have better relationships with family and friends, and to just be able to enjoy the life-affirming pleasures of the creative experience. So, in the practical session later, we did hand painting in order to gain first hand experience.

Finally i have watch a movie that i have anticipated for so looooong. (time has passed so fast wth. T.T) Not going to mention about the story cuz it was reeeeeeaaaaalllllllly AWESOME. haha. This is one of my daddy's favourite oldies and i never knew there is a touching story behind this song until he told me.

The song was based on an actual incident that occurred aboard a southern bus bound for Miami. One of the passengers explained to the driver that he was just out of prison, having served three years for passing bad checks. In a letter to his wife, he had written that she didn't have to wait for him; but, if she was still interested, she could let him know by tying a yellow ribbon around the only oak tree in the city square. As the bus rolled down U.S. 17, nearing the man's hometown of White Oak, Georgia, the driver was asked to slow down so that all could see whether the ribbon was in place. To the man's tearful relief, it was. The tree is full of yellow ribbons welcoming him home! And the time of rejoicing has come.

Can you copy 3000 words from the book in one hour? see la. mission tak mungkin. Summore when we couldnt finish writing in one hour she scolded us lambat pula. Ask her to write n see la. T_T

24/4/08 (thursday) Developmental Psychology test.Open book but cannot refer journals. 6 short answer questions and an essay in one and a half hour. But then beforehand must read 6 super thick and dunno-what-izzit about-and-super-confusing- JOURNALS. But then minyi yang malas only study few of them and tatz it. *fainted*

25/5/08 (friday) Can u believe minyi is going to take part in a bowling competition today?!! wuahahahaha. i bet she is going to wash longkang till bersih dan bersinar.

Like i mentioned before, I am so lucky to stay here. I can admire sunset quite often.

Juz like what Cassie said, it's nice to admire sunset someone. Haha. i never had a chance to admire sunset with someone and i guess i shall try it someday in the future. =p
But once again i m kinda lucky because since my daddy's hometown is at Port Dickson so i have plenty of chances to admire beautiful sunset.

Sunset is always beautiful.. and peaceful. i love sunset because throughout my journey, i've learnt that sunset is not something to be afraid of ,but something to anticipate, or look forward to....

i have been extra be careful today, to avoid people play pranks on me... since today is terrible-horrible-april's fools day. I remember being fooled by others last time, for example like telling me they were in extremly bad mood, prank calls, telling me to come out because they claimed that they were outside my house, telling me that she was pregnant (almost scared me to death man), telling me that i didnt zip my skirt, telling me that there was cockroach on next to my foot etc etc... O.o' Aiks i think i was kind enough to believe them. *ah foo min yi baka.* but of course i also tried to make fun of some of my good friends last time.. like giving my best friend a cup of salty orange juice.. err.. and some more. XD

So yeah today i got a sms from Joanne. She said that she is not feeling well and couldnt come to class. I was like uhhh.. tis Joanne was trying to make fun of me izzit.. manatau in later time she really din turn up! oh my goodness. summore juz now i replied her like haha joanne ur trying to cheat me izzit. O.o' aiks. *i'm so so so sorry Joanne*

Kelantan

Few days ago my cousin came to visit me from Kalantan during his school holidays. Speaking of Kelantan, i think most people are not very familiar with this place.My mom's hometown is located at Kota Bharu, the capital, so i have to back every end of the year.

To me, Kelantan is not well developed as compared to other state. There is no highway there, so everytime we have to spend like 12 hours to travel there by car (from johor bahru), using those bengkang-bengkok small roads. The town is very small and there are not many tall buidings. There are also not many cars there, and there are also "beca" travelling around as public transport. More than 90% of the people there are Malays, and the only lingua franca there is Kelantanese Malay dialect. ( Very hard to understand their bahasa, it is because, for example they pronouce those words that ended with "an" as "ae", and those ended with "a" as "o")

Kelantan has been ruled by the opposition Islamic Party of Malaysia (PAS) since 1990. Therefore, Kelantan is Malaysia's most socially conservative state.For years, PAS has attempted to impose a STRICT interpretation of Islamic Law on Kelantan. It has succeeded in imposing certain "unique" rules in the social. For example, firstly, single-sex queues in supermarkets. Can u imagine when u want to pay in supermarkets, the cashers were divided into 2 side, one is for male and the other one is for female.Besides that, separate public benches for men and women. Ahahaha too bad for those couples that want to dating in park. Oh yeah, and models in the advertisment oso must "dress appropriately". Can u imagine in a shampoo advertisment, the model actually wearing tudung. Not only that, the dress code there is also very conservative. I remember there was once me and my sisters wanted to swim at a resort swimming pool. We were wearing swim suits that time but people in the pool were wearing TRACK suit!!! They looked as us as we were naked. =.=' Besides that, kelantan has limiting entertainment centres such as cinema(dun have at all) to prohibit "salacious behaviour". Also, u can see Bahasa Rumi everywhere.

McD in Kelantan

There are too many things tat i can tell about Kelantan. for example, variaty of unique food and culture. Another thing that is so popular in Kelantan- flood. I have experienced once in Kelantan before.

This is one of the popular place in Kelantan, the market. It is so famous because of RATS! There are many many rats live in this pasar. I remember last time there was this rat-hunting competition in Kelantan. Whoever can catch certain amount of rats can get reward. =.='

This is one of the famous beach in Kelantan, Pantai Cahaya Bulan (PCB). It formerly known as the Beach of Passionate Love (Pantai Cinta Berahi), after PAS has taken over kelantan, they have changed the name to Pantai Cahaya Bulan. U know la, they wont like those name with cinta or something.

So that's all about Kelantan. Haha. Whoever want to go there for holiday can contact me. Ahahaha i am willing to become the tour guide. =p

i was wondered why it was freaking jam at the singapore custom that day. The police were checking every single car that leave Singapore. After that i was informed that there was a criminal escaped from detention centre in singapore.

So this so called security threat criminal is Mat Selamat. (it's not selamat at all. =.=')
He escaped from the toilet of the Whitley Road Detention Centre, Singapore on Wednesday at about 4.05 pm, when he was being led to a room to meet his family members.

Mat Selamat is the leader of the Singapore's wing of the Islamic militant network, Jemaah Islamiah. He was blamed for several deadly bombing attacks in Southeast Asia, including the one in Bali. He was also involved in the sensational plot to crash a hijacked plane onto Changi Airport.

I 'm not sure whether he already fled to malaysia or not.. but i am so so so IMPRESSED that he could actually escaped..*omg* (if it's malaysia then is understandable la). I believe the security at all the air, land and sea checkpoints will be tightened and there might be a hundred thousand of singapore police,military and special operation command forces will be tracking him down.. So if he really can leave singapore's shore and step in Malaysia he is really keng la.

Hmm.. perhaps he is a ninja? *poof and disappeared*

a lost lizard

So this a short and simple story about this lizard. Today i was on the way back from port dickson with my dad, i saw a very big figure ahead from a distance.

me: daddy what'z tat in front?
daddy: eee.. got thing mer?
Me: got!! u see got a brown thing there!
daddy: ahhh saw d, aiks is a branch la!
me: wait u see its moooooving!!!!!!!!!!!!
daddy:waaaaaaaa is a lizard!!!
me: BRAKEEEE!!!!!!!

so yeah. We managed to brake 1cm before this thingy. *phew*
Believe me it was HUGE! like one metre long. It's much more bigger than the one i saw in singapore zoo!
Apparently this lizard was trying to cross the road. He moved slowly and suddenly, stopped in the middle of the road. He hesitated for a while...
then he patah balik. =.='

i think it is because there was no any road sign for him so he lost his way guaaa. *shrug*

It has been raining everyday since i came back. It was so cold everyday.. *haaa chhooo!*

I wondered where the sun has gone.. why he dun want to show up? =(

I have to wear long sleeve in my home,

or i have to wrap myself with scarf sometimes..

I have to wear shoes too.. cuz the floor is too cold for me to step on it!

It is sooo cold that i hate to take bath twice a day..

There is no place for me to hang clothes already..

and i dun wan to mop the floor.. it's juz very cold!

However this is such a good weather for sleeeeeping..

and it's so nice to eat tom yam. hahaha.

A trip to Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM)

Owh kay, i suppose to update the blog about this trip like 10000 BC ago? (hoho.. i wan to watch this movie!) *cough cough* ok. Eight of us, cassie, su woan, sii ying, wan ting, jaq, yung jiun, chen see and Me, went Jungle trekking at FRIM right after the day after exam, which is 28th Feb.
The weather that day was really great, windy and cloudy.. and the forest breeze was really cooling.. whooooo..

So yeah, we started with rover track ( easy to walk because the track was wide and covered with small stones, hmmm..besides there were some parts which were very steep which required more strength to walk.) After walking around 900m, we reached the entrance of the canopy walk. This was where the tough part started. We had to walk on a very very steep, narrow track with lots and lots of "staircases" (cuz we were moving up and up....) and at last... we reached the challenging part, the hanging bridge. To me, it was fine and fun! There were platforms for me to admire breathtakingly beautiful forest scenery ( can see sunway from there as well!). However for some of them it was really a dreadful journey..hohoho.. because the hanging bridge was swinging.. and swaying in the air..

So after that, we continued our journey to the picnic side at the waterfall.. this part of journey was really a challenging one, it was a very steep track ,going down, and the path ahead was vague. *oh Two roads diverged in a wood....(the road not taken xD)* It required lots of team work and cooperation. everybody was like keep reminding among each other to "be careful ya".

In the end.. we reached the waterfall safely without getting lost in action.

After came out from the jungle, we checked ourselves whether we were "haunted" by those hooooooorible LEECHES! it is because i remember the 1st time we came, poor jaq was too kind enough to feed 3 leeches i think..( donate 1cc blood to leeche, save his whole family. =___________='). Then I found a small,brown little friend in my shoe, *screaaaaaaammmmmmmm!!!!* luckly he havent bite me yet. *phew*

End his ending was..... killed by salt.

And after resting... is posing time!!

Then, we taken our lunch at ikea. *yummuy*

Overall, it was a nice trip. it is because the 1st time i went the weather was really bad, raining halfway and we were forced to go back. It was such a waste that i cannot complete the canopy walk and hanging bridge.. but now i have fullfilled my small little wish! whee~

how to make a yummy cheese cake

Me,cassie, chen see and her friend went to jaq's house to make cheese cake yesterday. It was really easy,interesting and fun. ( i din destroy jaq's kitchen! =p)

So here is the recipe.. (make sure u make one for my birthday after u read it! wahahahaha XD)

Ingredients:

my vito biscuit (at least one big packet)

2 bar of Philadelphia cheese

1 bar of butter (chen see recommended Lupark)

400ml of condensed milk (put less if u dun wan the cake to be very sweet)

some blue berry jam

3 teaspoon of gelatine

3 soupspoon of hot water

Method:

1. smash the biscuits into powder.

2. mix the power with the butter.

mix mix mix..... till very sticky

3. then place it at the bottom of the round tray, make sure is thin enough.

4. freeze the base in the freezer for 30 minutes.

5. in the mean time, mix 3 teaspoon of gelatine with 3 soupspoon of hot water. Stir well.

6. Blend the 2 bar of cheese well. Add the liquid of gelatine and 400ml of condensed milk.

take out the mixture from blender and mannually stir again.

7. After 30 minutes, take out the base from freezer.

8. Place a layer of blueberry jam on top.

Tada!!

9. Then, place the mixture of cheese on the base.

10. Freeze the whole thing in the freezer for at least one hour.

That's how it looked like when u take out from the tray!

an annoying taxi uncle

Owh finally i back to hometown d! * home sweet home* .. finally i can update my abandoned blog . Actually the main reason i seldom update because i really hates the freaking slow connection in hostel. It takes 3 thousand year to update a picture. I think i will be covered by spider webs and dust when i finish upload all the pictures.

so yesterday i came back to jb by train with gloria. I was suppose to meet her at kl sentral station so i have to take taxi from condo to subang ktm station. So there was this indian taxi uncle with his very "lauya" taxi. Air-corn not cold at all... and he still wanted to charge me so expensive! (normally is RM7) His explaination is because it was peak hour, very jam. So i thought that i can argue with him when we arrived.

me: errr...uncle, juz now no jam at all ler, u still wan to charge me RM10?

taxi uncle: cannot la miss, 10 ringgit.

me: why cannot, juz now road very smooth wat.

taxi uncle: cannot la miss, 10 ringgit, cuz when i go back it will be very jam.

me: huh....but err.. u shouldnt charge me extra for that.. (what the heck, is so none of my business)

taxi uncle: why not, because i wont be here if i din fetch u here. So 10 ringgit.

me: err.. but uncle.. i only got RM8 ( still not willing to pay him extra)

taxi uncle: cannot la miss, 10 ringgit.

so i took out rm10 from my wallet reluctantly. He was so INSIST! I scared that if i dont pay him he will bang me with his taxi. =.=' i was so freakin angry!!! arrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!

So yeah. The 1st job since i came back is to cook dinner. So i decided to cook this..

Japanese Katsu curry!!! oh well, this is what i promised to cassie during our sake sushi lunch yesterday. hahaha. So cassie, I will cook for you one day in the future for sure! wheee~

wayang kulit

my roomate is from performing arts and on sunday she has performed wayang kulit at sunway rooftop theater. This is the subject (one and the only actually =.=') she has taken this sem and this performance is her final exam. She took a very important role which was "tuk dalang" (the performer that control the puppets and the conversations fot the puppets) for the performance. There were only 2 tuk dalang in a performance kay so shows tat she was choosen because she is really gooooood. In the performance she had to control 4 puppets and in charge all the conversations of the four thingy. *woahhh*

So as her loyal fans i went there quite early... and i dragged sii ying and yong long along too. hehehehe. The story was about the so called Sri Rama and his 2 amusing followers, bad guy Ramayana and in the middle got raksasa came out somemore. =.=' There were 3 parts of the performance. The 1st part which was in malay was performed by my roomate, one of her classmate performed the 2nd part, in ENGLISH *freaking funny*. XD, and the 3rd part is performed by her tuk guru, Pak Nasir.

So the performance was really fascinating.. because this was the 1st time i really admired a wayang kulit performace. *ulu girl* The tok guru part, it was really great, espeacially the movement of fighting scene, and he IMPROVISED on the spot. omg. But i cant really understand his bahasa because his kelantan accent.

So yeah. Really fascinated. I promised her i will go to the every performance she will be having in the future. =D

这篇 <<叶子的离开>> 是一篇很出名的网络小说.我记得在我中三时就看过这篇小说.我对它的印象很深刻,因为我觉得它很特别, 简单,却扣人心弦.

My day in college today started with a movie starring by Anthony Hopkins, The World's Fastest Indian. It is about the main character, Mr. Burt's effort to reach Utah, United States and his attempt to break the world land speed record after he arrives. The story adopted the philosophy of the tortoise: Despite all the critisms,SLOW and steady wins the race. At the begining i dont really like this movie because there were a lot of talkings and there was no subtitle. =.='

Before the class Ms Cassie said she wanted to eat sushi but she couldnt decide. After that she fetch me from condo 2 hours after class, somemore she made u-turn on the way back to her hosue ! hahaha.

We ended up eating sushi at sushi Groove.

Breakfast this morning was really mouth-watering. I love the "din sum" ("har gau" & "siew mai") and "char siew" bun.

hohoho. "siew mai"!

we were heading to our destination today-Hongkong Disneyland right after breakfast.

The Main Street are the typical American town of the early 1900s with variety of charming shops and restaurants. This is where i bought the souvenirs.

Next, we went to the adventure land. The theme of this land is based on the popular stories, lion king and tarzan. This land is covered by exotic rainforrest, rivers and myriads of "wild animals". We watched a fantastic show-Festival of the Lion King at the theater inside. This performance was based on the disney animated classic- the lion king. I truly fell in love with this show!

After the performance, we had lunch in fantasyland.

The food there was EXTREMLY expensive. One plate of noodle or rice cost hk$ 50+, which is RM25+. Outside food was strictly prohibited, there were officials that actually check our bag before entering disneyland to prevent anyone bring in outside food.

This is where enchanting fairy-tales became true, princesses and cartoon charactors were found.

After that,i watched the The Golden Mickeys Award at Disney's Storybook Theater. It was a spectacular show with great Disney classics like Tarzan, Mulan, Little mermaid,Disney-Pixar's Toy Story, beauty and the beast and Lilo & Stitch.

There were some other attractions such as 3D film,The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh,Mad Hatter Tea Cups,Cinderella Carousel and etc.. too bad the time did not allow me to explore them all.

The land we visited next is Tomorrowland.

ok, i know i looked stupid.

As u can see the theme of this land is the voyage of future. The only thing that i can remember is the talking stitch!

Lastly my magical and splendid trip in disneyland ended by truly enchanting fireworks in front of the sleeping beauty castle. This was the most beautiful fireworks i have ever watched in my life. No word can descibe my feeling during that magical moment, fantastic fireworks with famous disney songs such as beauty and the beast, a whole new world, can you feel the love tonight.. all my favorate songs!

my family trip, day 1

the day i have been anticipating finally arrived. hoho. i woke up at 3am this morning because i ll be heading to the air port at 4.30. However, after we rushed to the airport, we only knew that the flight was delayed till 9am. =.=

so i arrived macau at 1 something i guess. The weather was just nice. We went to the ruins of Saint Paul's Cathedral after lunch.

it used to be a Catholic church but it was destroyed by disastrous fire and only the front structure of the chruch was remained. The carving is very unique because it is a blend of western and eastern culture.

next, what is the another famous place of interest in macau? tada------> CASINO! yes, this is our next destination.
here it is (one of the popular casino in macau)! and i was LEGAL to enter because anyone who is 18 years above is allowed enter. Obviously i did not place any bet because i was so unlucky in gambling *cough* (is actually because i was with my parents ). haha.

After that, we left macau and heading to hong kong by ferry.

The next activity was shopping at the ladies' street. The tour guide only allowed us to shop here for 1 hour, which was NOT ENOUGH!

Hmm.. ladies' street in hong kong and chinatown at kl are very alike, as you can see below. There were stalls, stuff, food, people......

food food food.. haha. too bad i was too full that time. My dad was searching for the famous " gui lin gao( i dunno wat it called in english)" all the time and finally... this is the ledendary "gui lin gao".

to me,it was expensive. It cost me hk$40+ which is around rm20+ for a very small bowl. =/

yet i still enjoyed it because it was cooling. =D

so my trip today ended here. We went back to hotel after that. The hotel was awesome! It is situated at the waterfront between the Ting Kau Beach & Lido Bay, facing the Tsing Ma Bridge and Ting Kau Bridge with magnificent sea view. The room was new, clean, fully furnished ( nice bathroom, comfortable bed, PLASMA TV etc..).

Samantha juz came back from aussie and we had this small gathering. too bad ahsher unable to join us. aww. So we had lunch at asia cafe, cabana and sweet cafe, talking, playing, photo taking non-stop. I really miss u all my dearest lao pos. Although we seldom meet, i carry u all within my heart. Hope we can meet again soon in the future. ( we havent go sunway lagoon, peneng, red box and shopping together!!)

aww, exam finally passed and here comes my holiday. Yeah, my holiday schedule is well-planned and i am so excited and anticipated for my wonderful holiday.

I went to port dickson (AGAIN!) with my dearest classmates, jaq, yng jiun, su woan, sii ying, hui wen and chen see. I want to thank jaq and jng jiun for planning and arranging this fabulous trip for us and thanks su woan for being our "chauffeur". (Can u imagine we squeezed all our stuff and ourselves in an unser huh.)

We had our lodging in anCaSa Resort. Well, i dun really wan to recommend this resort. It is because firstly, they have limited parking , and There was COCKROACH in the unit!! we tried call the housekeeping but eventually the one who answered is receptionist! *shrug* the most important is, the beach isn't nice! hmmm. ok. *try not to complain too much*

However, the room was quite nice and well furnished.

We had BBQ for our dinner. We hoped for the rain to stop yet it doesn't. We ended up bbq under a shade somewhere near the seaside. The food was yummuy, chicken wings, hot dogs, prawns, chicken balls, otak-otak, marshmallows etc... (oh well i have to start my weight losing plan tomorrow ) after that we went back to our resort and had our own activities.

thanks hui wen for making us tea while we were having "girls' talk". Everyone seems exhausted because we just finished exam. Su woan is the one who slept first and Sii ying was accompanying her. Oh yea before that we had this small Ghost story telling session. *freaky!!* After that, me, yng jiun, jaq and chen see continued playing pool at the gaming room.

Right after we came back to out unit, we were all freaked out by sii ying. ( what got noice or something. O.o) All of us gathered at jaq's room and play uno stako. It was fun. And me, being the 2nd victim..( consequence of trying to frame others)

The next day we went to beach, playing frisbee and "crab hunting" XD And this is the end of my class trip.

i am so glad that i have some other awesome trip following but i missed the open day and the christmas party of psychology department. i really wish i was there. Hope i can take part next year!

It's almost end of the year and the festival i have been waiting for is around the corner. yes, it's CHRISTMAS! wheee~

i really love christmas a lot; though i am not a christian , neither celebrate christmas in the way that christians did. However, to me, christmas is a time of magic, excitement,love, gifting and the sharing of the feeling of joy.

i love christmas tree, trees that decorated with christmas lights, colourful ornaments, bells, ribbons, candy canes and stars or angels that placed on the top of the christmas trees.

i love classic christmas carols. i enjoy listening to them. .jingle bell, we wish you a merry christmas, the first noel, let it snow, santa claus is coming to town, winter wonderland, jingle bell rocks and many many more..i feel joyful and peaceful when i listen to my favorate christmas carols.

i love christmas decorations. The glowing lights a long the street, christmas trees, ribbons,snowman, candy houses, stockings remind me christmas is coming very sooooooon!

i love gift exchanging during christmas. It is a token of gratitude and cherish towards those i really love and care. Well, i dun mind spending money on the gifts because i will get something cant buy in exchange, which is the suprise and smile on the person's face when they recieved my christmas presents. ( of course i'll be very happy too if i get present from others. hohohohoho.)

i love christmas atmosphere. it is warm, sweet and romantic. During december,i love walking along the street with wonderful christmas decorations. The joyful sense is in the air.

and yeaaah, christmas is coming, less than 3 days time, yet i still dun have any plan yet. =(
i wish i can have a Merry Christmas with good friends, family and loved ones who join me around a table full of delicious food and drinks and with our hearts full of love, friendship and kindness.

i know today would be a very fine day, a day filled with happiness and joyous. Before i went to school, the rain stopped and i saw rainbow in the sky. It was so pretty.. =)

Today was totally in chaos. It is because 3 of my assignments due today, my research report, english essay and nonverbal communication presentation.*tis is so crazy!!!* I managed to finished them on time but somehow there were still a lots of errors waiting for me to correct.

Firstly, the research report, something wrong with the late review part and references. Luckly no need to reprint the whole thing, is like 34 pages man! The english essay, i thought it was ok. but thank i ended up printing it for 3 times because of the running head! the essay is about protecting our enviroment and yet i was wasting so many papers *poor trees* . Thanks wan ting for helping me to edit because i was so busy with the presentation slides.

i was so so so frustrated. i dunno wats wrong with her. i told her to do her part, but what she gave me is totally a different thing. She ask me to design slides for her, i agreed, ask her to send me her informations as soon as possible. I kept waiting and waiting for her mail the whole day,tat day before the presentation. I email her and sms her to remind her. Yet i couldnt get any reply from her. It was around 2 something, finally, i saw her mail. yet with few words .. " i juz saw ur msg, sorry i forget." *minyi stunned there for few seconds and speechless.....*

Just now she told me, owh minyi i did my part, and i actually finished on saturday. I din send it to u only.. bla bla bla * and lots of explainations* and suddenly she said, eh yesterday night i remember i sent it to u d, no mer? in fact i din recieve anything from her besides the few lines tat she said she has forgotten. I calm myself down and i asked her to pass me the slide she did. *nearly fainted after i opened the file* She did few slides and mostly is about the part i supposed to do! In the end i redo the slides for her last minute. Sigh.

Luckly everything went well for the presentation and everybody seemed enjoyed to this topic. Phew. Now i am worry about the 2000 words essay regarding to this topic. I wonder she will complete her part or not. I dont want to do her part but if i dont, and she really din do, it will affect me and wanting's marks. But if we did her part for her, is just UNFAIR for us. She will get the same marks as us. what on earth man..

Have tried so hard to communicate and cooperate with her, but it doesnt work. Evertime she promised me,gave me hope, nothing but disappointment in the end.What can i do. =.=

2 words discribing this movie, Splendid and tremendously enchanting.

it lights up the screen with a splendid tale of heroism and romance.

It is a fantastic fantasy story about of an ordinary shop boy's quest to prove his love takes us on a journey into a magical kingdom at the other side of the wall conspiring villainous witches, murderous princes, air-borne pirates, a "macho" captain and a fallen star.

I was lucky cuz able to watch this movie before the debut date which is 1th november. I would not comment more here because i strongly recommend this movie to everyone. You will know after u watch it. =)

I am totally fall in love with this movie.

Sigh. I still wonder why October passed so fast without noticed. I spent around one week at johor bahru during my term-break and busy with assigments, homeworks, reports. Besides that, i dunno what i've done.

i have watched some of the movies for the last two week, which is bourne ultimatum and resident evil. Not much comment on both of the movies. Without a doubt, bourne ultimatum was great as expected, both strategies and actions. Actually i was quite blur about she story line since i did not watch the first and second part. hmm. i guess i should borrow them from my library. =D

Resident evil, i only things i remember are zombie, killing zombies and a lots of zombies. Arrgghhh. there was a part in the movie, when the zombie suddenly popped-out from the side, i screaaammmed.... *paiseh* i know the zombie will come out, is just dunno when?!!

The journey to Alaska (perhaps) will continued,so lets wait for part four.

Have some good times with classmates last week. Overnight at yng jiun's house, went tom yam at Serdang and redbox.

the seeker: The dark is rising

I watched this movie last Saturday. The preview aroused my curiousity towards this movie.The story line seems intersting. It is a fantasy story about a teenager, Will. On the eve of his 14th birthday, he learns from the mysterious Old Ones of the eternal struggle between The Light and The Dark, and that his destiny is to find the six magical signs that will prevent darkness from blanketing the world. To accomplish his task, he gain new powers and travel through time to find the six elemental signs that will hold back the force of the dark.

Plot turns are easy to figure out in advance, even for those who have not read the original book.The film has an attractive look, with lovely production design, but the special effects are nothing special. I was hoping some awesome battle between the seeker, the old ones and the dark. But the ending of the story is not very convincing.

"I'm supposed to save the world," said Will Stanton . "But I don't even know how to talk to a girl."

Everybody knows that normally in this kind of movie, the girl that the main character obsessed for eventually will turn out to be evil. And it was so obvious! I wondered why all the "heroes" will fall into the beauty trap. *shrug*

emm. Overall, the movie is still considered ok. =D i will rate it B-.

I couldn't believe that i actually watched 6 movies at cinema in 2 weeks time. Err... is not considered a lot right? =D

I am not sure since when watching movie has become the greatest interest in my life. Perhaps it's because of my daddy's influence. *shrug* He enjoyed watching movies since he was young as well. hehehe. Like father, like daughter. =)
I start collecting tickets of movies that i've watched since 2006. Till now, there are 80+ of them. ( one of my greatest collection. XD)
So lets say 1 ticket = RM10, 80 tickets = RM800. Oh gosh, i dont remember i spent such huge amont of money on movies!

So yea. I am 20 years old this year.I have a weird feeling when i saw the two candles on my birthday cake. Time passed so fast and i was wondering what i have done in this 20 years.

My family celebrated my birthday earlier. They bought me a small mocha cake and eventually finished by my little nephew. =.='. Thanks so much daddy for the dinner and reloading RM200 for my phone. Thanks to my elder sister for you card and youngest sis for your keychain (you still havent paid me).

Thanks geowin, kaizun, yaokuang, seok kheng and stephanie for the birthday suprise. Yea. u all really suprised me sucessfully. =D Thanks kai zun for buying such a nice cake for me , and treating us dinner in the japanese restaurant.

And thanks to all my fellow classmates for the birthday suprise! ( though yng jiun let the cat out of the bag accidentally. XD) Thanks su woan for playing me such a lovely birthday song. i have been studying psychology at SYUC around one month. Everything went smoothly. My life is joyful, peace,and filled with love and friendships.Though sometimes i really had a hard time with tons of assigmnents and homeworks, however, they made my life meaningful.

today, jia lynn has asked me out with Ivy. Ivy is my secondary school classmate,sitting behind of me that time, and i never seen her at all after i graduated.So in the end, we went bowling.I felt so awkward cuz i am so bad with bowling.As expected, at the first game, i "washed longkang" a lot .* but dunno why at the next game, i was so lucky.

After that, we had some mouth-watering local delicacies, which are my favorites, PENANG LAKSA and CENDOL at some where nearby. Then, we went for a Thai horror movie called "Perng Mang". Perng Mang(drum) is a type of traditional musical instrument in Thailand. Ping, a young and handsome nobleman, becomes a student of Master Duang, a famous musician who owns a mysterious Perng Mang. It has the power to bring success or death to people. Meanwhile, an arrogant musician called Muan tries to convince all the students to leave Master Duang. Some students follow his advice and end up dying tragic deaths because of the betrayal. When Master Duang is defeated by Muan, he calls for Ping to inherit his musical knowledge and gives him the Perng Mang. Ping is told about the secret of Perng Mang and that it was made from a woman's skin. The woman's name was Thip, the same name of a woman he has fallen in love with. This is a typical horror movie with very scary scenes and a lot of blood shedding.The ways the betrayers died were horrible.I cannot describe here cause i have covered my eyes since it was too violence and disgusting.However, I can say this movie is also a love story between the man the the ghost. The love of the man for the ghost was very deep. He still loved her until the end of his life though he knew the truth.

The next day, we went korean BBQ at a shop near Zon Regency! I must thanks mr. pang han for helping me to do some surveys on Korean BBQ shops in Johor Bahru. *Thank u so muchie~~~*

Sigh. happy times usually passed very fast. After today, i wondered when we will meet again. Jia lynn will continues her study at Russia end of this month and will be coming back only next year .Ivy will go back to KL very soon. Parting in life is sad, but i believe we will meet again soon one day in the future. =)

Really thanks to my dearest aunt,because she is keen on cookery and she has prepared all the ingredients that we need,i had this golden chance to learn how to make pizza yesterday.
So yea,as u can see on our left side, overview of the ingredients, which is pizza flour, ham, mushrooms, red and green pepper, shredded cheese and tomato puree.Making pizza is much more easier than i thought. I just have to mix and stir the flour,oil and water together,then flatten it into round shape.After that, spread the tomato puree and add adequate toppings. In the end, put some shredded cheese onto the toppings.

So,it is how it looks after adding all the toppings. Then, bake at 200*c for 15 minutes until crust become golden brown.

i was really glad because i was so scared that it was a totally fiasco as this is my first attempt. However, it was really sucessfull. I think it was as tasty as pizza hut's pizza. *grinning. =D

i've cooked speghatti for lunch today.Consequence of thinking too much when i was slicing the onions.

T_T this is the first time i was being so careless. I never cut myself like this time before.
The moral of the story is, concentrate when slicing onions.

Eventually, i was escaped from washing all the dishes. *lucky*
and i have this yummy "almond longan jelly" from my dearest aunt.It really taste great afterall though this is her first attempt too.

well. today was really a happy day for me. Mainly because i have finally meet up with my "long lost friend", Jia lynn. I haven't seen her for 2 years since she went study at Russia. I miss her so so so so much. =p So, we have decided hanging around at city square since there is not many place that we can hang around at johor bahru. We had lunch, movie and shopping together. We had a great time. Another thing thats makes me really happy was i recieved a phone call from dear ahsher.i am glad that she's still remembers and cares about me. haha. =p this has made me think of ah fong, ah sam and ah jui. miss them so so so much too. hopefully i can meet them very soon. * wink*

back to the topic, the movie i have watched today is vacancy.Obviously, from the preview i knew that there would be lots of screaming,running and killing in the movie. I was praying that hopefully it wouldn't be so violence and sanguinary as i expected.luckly, it wasn't. phew.

The set-up is as simple and stark as an urban legend. A bickering married couple, David and Amy have car trouble on a country highway miles from the interstate. They hike back to a motel run by a weird little night manager and take the honeymoon suite.So, the so-called Honeymoon Suite, is crummy and squalid, with cockroaches, fetid blankets and an ancient TV with homemade-looking tapes stacked nearby.They put on a videotape, which shows a horrific scene of murder so realistic it could be a snuff film.Soon this mild nightmare accelerates into something far worse.In fact, it is a snuff film. And it was filmed in the room they're standing in.The moment they have realised that, they found that there were few killers already observing them from outside and via hidden camera inside the room.If they cannot escape from those maniac, they will soon become the main characters of " the latest snuff flim.The rest is pure cat-and-mouse.So as we can expected,the filmmakers want them to survive. What really great in this movie is, it squeezes the maximum in suspense out of the minimum in location .Besides that, the movie also emphasized on the relationship between the couples. The two have a dead child that has driven them to the brink of divorce; however,few backwoods maniac coming with a digital camera and a butcher knife have sucessfully let them bury the hatchet,as they are trying to survive together through almost unimaginable horror.Overall, this movie has really chilling atmopshere,however, the ending is quite disappointing. =/

I watched the movie i have been long for watching since it starts showing. It was indeed IMPRESSIVE and FASCINATING!!! Well, i can say that it is the best movie that i have ever watched this year. In addition,the rating of this movie at a newspaper is 8 over 10 which they never give high ratings to any other movies.So yea. i have been anticipating for about 2 weeks since it starts to show however i couldnt find someone to go with me. Mr. ang ,who willing to accompany me to watch though this is his 2nd time, i am so grateful to him. * thank u so muchie*

ok. Transformers, of course, comprise the good Autobots and the evil Decepticons . Both factions are imposing robots who contort themselves to become machines like trucks and supersonic fighter jets.They've brought the fight on their planet to this the earth. Both sides are in pursuit of a cubed life-force called the Allspark that in Decepticon hands could turn simple machines into robotic weapons of destruction.Meanwhile,unwittingly, a nerd looking, funny but a bit cool guy called Sam Witwicky got a myterious car from his daddy which is a banged-up 76' camaro that he only discovered later is an Autobot named Bumblebee. He introduces Sam and Mikaela to his fellow four Autobots, including their leader Optimus Prime .Besides amazing special effects of fighting,mayhem and explosive, there are lots of amusing parts that actually spiced up the movie.For instance,the robots have their own feelings and emotions. Bumblebee was in bad temper and then change into a new camaro and do wheelies when sam's girlfriend "insulted" him. Its radio also plays songs that fits his mood.The most amusing moment in the movie was the part that in order to find the cube, these guys are in a hurry for Sam to fetch an crucial key to mainkind's survival- the glasses of his great grandfather which he sells in eBay from his house. While he and his girl slip inside, the Autobots stand around impatiently, only halfway heeding Sam's instructions to stay hidden. Instead, they trample his parents' lawn and peer into the windows, barely avoiding an encounter with Sam's dad and tipsy mom, who are anxious to know what their son is doing in his bedroom. And of course, the transformation of the boombox is funny. =D In the end, they gained victory as the cube and megatron were destroyed. i am touched by the strong bond shared among the autobots particulary bumblebee and sam.I am happy with the ending that bumblebee has choose to stay along with sam. =)

it would be so great that if they are having part two. i want to watch it again. *grinning*

finally, i watched 2 movies that i have been anticipating, which is harry potter, the order of the phoenix and die hard 4.0. harry potter.It was an okay movie, what I loved about it, first of all, was that it was quite alike what i pictured in my mind.Of course, they did leave out some of what I thought to be crucial details....such as ron and ginny enter the quidditch, the coins and jinx for the DA, St mango hospital and, oh yes, the Howler to Petunia. Delores Umbridge, looks mean and detesting as i imagine. I found myself hating Umbridge from her first "hem hem" at the ministry hearing, a hatred that only grew as the movie progressed. *arrrgghhh* however, luna lovegood,In the books I found that Luna almost seemed creepy, she looks lovable in the movie.It was at the end of the movie, which is the battles between dumbledore and u-know -who, is the most awesome part in the movie! This is the first time they are using so many spells and magics in the movie.Well, i think i shall not be too picky because this is a 240 minute movie, not a 800+ page novel. hehe. overall, i think this movie is acceptable for me and i dun mind watching twice. *laugh* i think am addicted to harry potter and currently trying to finish the 6th book. =D

Die hard,The film's modern-day plot is the world's latest doomsday scenario: Cybercrooks try a computer smackdown of the United States via virtual terrorism. They are using own computer programs to disrupt the federal grid, wreaking havoc on communications, banking and, most horrifically for any urban dweller,traffic flow. This is a brilliant idea. As the film gets started, there's a lot of keyboard typing, typing and more typing, which isn't all that interesting. As the movie proceed,there are lots of explosive, car getaways, helicopter attacks, physical assaults and bla bla bla anything u can imagine from an action movie . in the end, as everyone's expectation,McClane saves the day .You see, if there's anything to be learned from this movie, it's that technology is fickle, information is currency and bad people are often quite good with computers. overall, i enjoyed this movie especially the unforgettable part, its final bang. Virtually no one can match supercop. =D
